32 Week Update

I am not even sure where to start. So much has happened this week. I went to see Dr. Sudela yesterday and he finally put me on modified bedrest. This means that I don't have to be in the bed lying flat all of the time but he does want me resting either in bed or on the couch. That means no more household duties, grocery shopping, or cooking for me... Sorry Josh :( He also said that I could still go to my maternity photoshoot and to my baby shower on February 6th but to try to stay home and relax for the rest of the pregnancy. As of now, Tucker is in a frank breech presentation. This means that his butt is down by the birth canal and his legs are pointed straight up in front of his body with his feet near his head. Dr. Sudela said there is a very large chance that he will not turn back around before the big day. This increases my risk of having a C-section. Keep your fingers crossed that the little stinker turns head first! Dr. Sudela doesn't feel like it is a good idea for me to go all the way to full term so he is planning on delivering Tucker sometime in the middle of February. This puts me somewhere between 36-38 weeks. At first I was really against induction but I am now to the point where I am ready for him to be born. I am getting more and more uncomfortable by the day. We will just have to wait and see how things go.
On a lighter note, we have almost finished Tucker's nursery!!! His furniture came in last week and it is absolutely gorgeous! I love to go in there and just stare at how good everything came together. We still have some work to do in there though. We have several things that we still need to hang on the wall. We are planning on getting the letters of his name painted so we can hang them above the crib. I am also waiting for the accessories that match his bedding. I also can't wait to get my glider and ottoman to go in the corner (for now we just have one of our dinner table chairs in it's place) We hope to have everything complete by the time the baby shower happens. Here is a sneak peek of the nursery. If you are wondering why there is a cat in some of the pictures it is because Diesel thinks that all of the furniture was purchased for him. It has been quite a challenge to keep him out of the crib and off of Tucker's changing table!! It is his new favorite place to nap. I don't blame him because it is sooooo soft! Oh well, I will just have to rewash everything before we bring little Tucker home from the hospital.

The chair is just taking up space until I get my glider & ottoman

I sure hope Diesel enjoyed his nap... this won't happen again :)

It is so much more beautiful in person but you get the idea

Tucker's 3D/4D Sonogram 31 Weeks

Josh and I had Tucker's 3D/4D sonogram today!! I can't wait to show off all of these precious pictures!! He is sooooooooo cute!! When we first started the sonogram we did not think the little stinker was going to cooperate for us. He has somehow managed to flip into breech position again so his head is somewhere close to my left rib cage. When we first started the sonogram he had his legs and feet in front of his face. I am not exactly sure how this is even possible but he managed to contort his body so that his feet were over his head. After turning on my side and pushing on my stomach several times he finally decided to move his legs and feet and we saw his precious face for the first time. It was the most incredible experience Josh and I have experienced during the pregnancy. I could ramble on forever about how cute he is... but I won't. Here are several pictures from the sonogram so you can see for yourself. I can't wait to finally meet him.

That is his left foot by his forehead, crazy huh?
Josh and I couldn't be more excited to meet this little guy

This is one of my favorites. Look at those lips!

I love how he is posing for the camera with his little
hands under his chin

Here he is waving to the camera.
