Getting Cuter & Cuter Everyday!!

Here are some of the latest pictures of our precious baby boy! The 1st 2 pictures were taken a couple of weeks ago. He must not have wanted to have his picture taken because by the 3rd or 4th picture he was pretty upset! Notice how happy he is on the first picture and then look at the last picture. The look on his face is priceless!

Letter To Tucker... And of Course PICTURES!!

Tucker,
I can't believe that you are almost 15 weeks old!!! It is so hard to believe how much you have changed. You have already brought so much joy to me & Daddy's lives. I could just sit and stare at you for hours and hours. You are the most beautiful baby we have ever seen. I know you are little now but someday you will be able to read this and know how much you are loved. I never thought I could love anything as much as I love you. The feeling is indescribable.

You are also growing like a weed. A little weed who has taken over our hearts! You are developing such a precious personality. It melts my heart when I walk up and you laugh when you recognize that it is me. It is the best feeling in the world. No matter what kind of day I have had, the best part of my day is when I walk in the room and see your precious face. I have never seen your Daddy so crazy about anyone. His face lights up anytime you smile or do something cute (which is pretty darn often). It seems like everyday you do something new or reach one of your milestones. You are so incredibly smart, baby boy and we love you more than anything in the world! Here are some of the things that you are doing now:

-holding your head up for long periods of time
-sitting up in the boppy seat or on the couch with pillows(you look like a bobble head, so cute)
-sleeping 6-8 hours every now and then
-eating 4-5 ounces every 2-3 hours (except when you sleep long stretches at night)
-sleeping on your tummy
-enjoying your tummy time mat and grabbing at objects
-watching cartoons- you love Sesame Street, Dinosaur Train, & when Daddy lets you watch
war movies-I'm not sure why but you loveanything with explosions and loud gunfire-that's our
boy!
-you smile when you see Mommy or Daddy
-cooing-saying gooo and gagagaga and squealing anytime you want attention
-you have rolled over once on 5/30/10 from your tummy to your back
-holding your pacifier in your mouth

You are sometimes scared of the flash on our camera but you are definately getting better. Today you got really upset when we took pictures and you really let us know how unhappy you were about it. I know in time you will get used to pictures and I'm sure you will start to pose for the camera soon.

Our computer is acting up and I am unable to upload any pics at the time.... Stay Tuned!

Countdown to Tucker's Arrival....Only 4 Days Left!!

Okay...Please prepare yourself because this is probably going to be the longest blog post known to man. Josh and I have some exciting news to share along with a ton of pictures that have been taken over the past few weeks. We found out last week that Tucker will actually be here much sooner than we expected. He will be arriving by C Section at 7:30 AM on February, 16th!!! Just 4 days away. We are so excited for him to finally get here. I had a final sonogram yesterday confirming that Tucker is still in frank breech presentation. It breaks my heart to know that he could be stuck in that uncomfortable position with his feet over his head! It really has to suck pretty badly for him right about now :( Hang in there Tucker, only a few more days to go until you finally get to meet Mommy & Daddy. I know you must be wondering when you will finally be seeing the people that have been talking to you through Mommy's tummy for the past 8 1/2 months. The sonographer said that Tucker has a ton of hair and that he is very chubby. I can't wait to see if he has curly hair like Josh! That would be the cutest thing ever!

This picture is a little out of order but oh well, here it is...

Our Finished Snowman

Josh and I had some professional photos taken of the 2 of us along with the baby bump. They turned out really beautiful and we are so glad that we were able to experience this together. Below I have posted a couple of our favorites from the photoshoot:

Last weekend Josh and I had an awesome baby shower to celebrate Tucker Glen Sperling. I must say that it turned out beautifully!! Thanks so much to our best friend Stephanie and our wonderful Moms for making it so special for us!! It couldn't have been more perfect. Also, thanks to all of our friends and family for making it out to help us celebrate this special time in our lives. It truly means the world to us and is very comforting to know that we have so many wonderful people in our lives who love us and support us. Below are some of the pictures from the baby shower:

Tucker's Beautiful Cake... It was sooo yummy too!

Lastly, can you believe all of the snow on the ground?? It is so beautiful outside. It literally came a blizzard and I have never seen it snow this much in Texas in all of my life. Josh & I built a snowman with our neighbor Michelle and he turned out so cute! I will share a few pictures of that as well. The three of us then attempted to go sledding in laundry baskets down the steep hills behind the Walmart in Rockwall. I wish I had gotten a few pictures of this, however, a security guard quickly shut us down. He said that we were a few of the 100 people that had come to sled at Walmart and that the manager had already contacted his lawyer to say that it was too big a liability for people to be "Redneck Sledding" behind Walmart in their laundry baskets, HAHA! Oh well, we have every intention of going back today and atleast sledding down the hill once or twice more before the cops get called. I actually have to be really careful because I don't want to hurt myself or Tucker in the process. Maybe I will just watch this time ( I am supposed to be resting, I couldn't resist. I mean, how often does it snow this much in Texas?). Here are the pictures of our Winter Wonderland:

32 Week Update

I am not even sure where to start. So much has happened this week. I went to see Dr. Sudela yesterday and he finally put me on modified bedrest. This means that I don't have to be in the bed lying flat all of the time but he does want me resting either in bed or on the couch. That means no more household duties, grocery shopping, or cooking for me... Sorry Josh :( He also said that I could still go to my maternity photoshoot and to my baby shower on February 6th but to try to stay home and relax for the rest of the pregnancy. As of now, Tucker is in a frank breech presentation. This means that his butt is down by the birth canal and his legs are pointed straight up in front of his body with his feet near his head. Dr. Sudela said there is a very large chance that he will not turn back around before the big day. This increases my risk of having a C-section. Keep your fingers crossed that the little stinker turns head first! Dr. Sudela doesn't feel like it is a good idea for me to go all the way to full term so he is planning on delivering Tucker sometime in the middle of February. This puts me somewhere between 36-38 weeks. At first I was really against induction but I am now to the point where I am ready for him to be born. I am getting more and more uncomfortable by the day. We will just have to wait and see how things go.
On a lighter note, we have almost finished Tucker's nursery!!! His furniture came in last week and it is absolutely gorgeous! I love to go in there and just stare at how good everything came together. We still have some work to do in there though. We have several things that we still need to hang on the wall. We are planning on getting the letters of his name painted so we can hang them above the crib. I am also waiting for the accessories that match his bedding. I also can't wait to get my glider and ottoman to go in the corner (for now we just have one of our dinner table chairs in it's place) We hope to have everything complete by the time the baby shower happens. Here is a sneak peek of the nursery. If you are wondering why there is a cat in some of the pictures it is because Diesel thinks that all of the furniture was purchased for him. It has been quite a challenge to keep him out of the crib and off of Tucker's changing table!! It is his new favorite place to nap. I don't blame him because it is sooooo soft! Oh well, I will just have to rewash everything before we bring little Tucker home from the hospital.

The chair is just taking up space until I get my glider & ottoman

I sure hope Diesel enjoyed his nap... this won't happen again :)

It is so much more beautiful in person but you get the idea

Tucker's 3D/4D Sonogram 31 Weeks

Josh and I had Tucker's 3D/4D sonogram today!! I can't wait to show off all of these precious pictures!! He is sooooooooo cute!! When we first started the sonogram we did not think the little stinker was going to cooperate for us. He has somehow managed to flip into breech position again so his head is somewhere close to my left rib cage. When we first started the sonogram he had his legs and feet in front of his face. I am not exactly sure how this is even possible but he managed to contort his body so that his feet were over his head. After turning on my side and pushing on my stomach several times he finally decided to move his legs and feet and we saw his precious face for the first time. It was the most incredible experience Josh and I have experienced during the pregnancy. I could ramble on forever about how cute he is... but I won't. Here are several pictures from the sonogram so you can see for yourself. I can't wait to finally meet him.

That is his left foot by his forehead, crazy huh?
Josh and I couldn't be more excited to meet this little guy

This is one of my favorites. Look at those lips!

I love how he is posing for the camera with his little
hands under his chin

Tucker's Nursery

Josh & I painted Tucker's nursery tonight. It actually only took us about an hour. We still have a little touching up to do but it looks so good!! His furniture should be here in 4-7 days and I can't wait to see what it looks like once we get everything put together. I am so excited to put the bedding with his crib and see how everything comes together. I took a couple of pictures of the room once we got it painted. They aren't the best pictures in the world but you get the idea of what the color looks like next to his paisley bedding, so cute!!
I also posted a few pictures of the growing belly... I swear it gets a little bigger everyday.. It is such an amazing feeling everytime he gets hiccups or kicks. Today I felt him stretch his body completely out for the first time. I watched my whole belly move when he stretched, it was awesome!

The Sperling Christmas

I am sorry that it has been so long since I have posted anything on our blog. Josh and I bought ourselves a new HD digital camera/video camera for Christmas so now we are able to take really nice pictures. Now that we are able to take such great pictures I will be updating our blog more often from now on.

We had a wonderful, relaxing Christmas with our families. Everyone was very excited to see the growing belly :) Josh and I are getting more and more excited with each passing day. It seems like every day the baby bump grows a little bit bigger. I can't explain how awesome it is to feel him moving inside me (even though sometimes it really hurts). Below I have posted several pictures from our holiday celebration. There are some random pictures on here that I thought turned out really cute :)

Me & the huge belly... Remember that the camera adds at least 10 pounds :)

at Mom's house. She has been bottle feeding him since he was 2 days old!
